Day 1: Delhi to Khatu Shyam Ji:

Khatu Shyam Ji is a revered temple located in Khatu village, Rajasthan, dedicated to Shyam Baba, believed to be an incarnation of Barbarik, grandson of Bhima from the Mahabharata. The temple is a major pilgrimage site, especially popular for its vibrant festivals and deep spiritual significance among devotees.
Morning (4:00 AM – 10:30 AM)
Departure from Delhi. Breakfast break around Rewari or Neemrana
Arrive at Khatushyamji by 10:30 AM

Midday (10:30 AM – 1:00 PM): Darshan at Khatu Shyam Ji Temple
Temple timings: Usually open 4:00 AM to 10:00 PM (longer hours on special days)
Visit Shyam Kund (holy pond near the temple)
Explore local Prasad shops, buy Shyam Baba souvenirs

 

Lunch (1:00 PM – 2:00 PM)
Afternoon & Evening (2:00 PM – 8:00 PM)

Option 1: Stay in Khatu
Check in at a nearby Dharamshala or hotel (basic but comfortable)
Evening walk around the peaceful temple town
Attend evening aarti at the temple

Option 2: Visit Salasar Balaji Temple (Optional Detour):

Salasar Balaji Temple, located in Rajasthan, is a famous shrine dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Known for fulfilling devotees’ wishes, it attracts large crowds, especially on Tuesdays and Saturdays, with vibrant rituals and a strong spiritual atmosphere.
Distance: \~110 km (2.5 hours)
Famous Balaji (Hanuman) temple; return to Khatu or stay overnight there

Day 2: Return to Delhi
Morning (6:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
Optional: Early morning darshan again if desired
7:30 AM – 1:30 PM: Drive back to Delhi. Stop for breakfast/brunch at a dhaba en route
